My name is Paul and being a Guns N' Roses fan from way back when, I jumped at the chance to grab this domain name when it was deleted a while back. I know there is a big commercial theme about the site, but we all gotta make a buck somehow, right? I hope to keep adding more content as time goes by, but I also have about 50 other websites, including 80s-music.com, which need maintaining and some which still have to be written. Can you believe I get several hundred emails a day (most of them SPAM!) which take a while to sort out. God I hate spammers. Anyway, enough bitching and back to the plot...
About me: As you might have guessed from my other website (80s-music.com), I am rapidly approaching middle age, if I'm not there already. I hail from England although I moved to Taiwan in my 20's where I have now resided for 13 years or so. Most of my music experiences are, you guessed it, from the 1980s. My favorite bands in those days were Judas Priest and of course Guns N' Roses. I used to go to lots of gigs, the most memorable ones perhaps being Donnington Park, 1991 I think (my memory's not so good these days) with AC/DC headlining; Judas Priest - several times around the UK on the Painkiller tour which I also saw in the USA at the Meadowlands arena in New Jersey; INXS were pretty good headlining at Wembley Stadium (again 1991, I think) where Debbie Harrie(Blondie) among others also made an appearance; Skid Row at Birmingham; UFO (you gotta be old to remember them) at Bradford City Hall, UK and too many more to mention. My biggest regret is that I never saw Guns N' Roses live when I had the chance: I was in Los Angeles in the early 90's and Gun-N-Roses were playing at the Rose Bowl, the problem was that they wanted $90 a ticket and in those days I was young and $90 was a lot of cash. If I could go back in time, I would gladly pay 90 bucks to see them. On the upside I did see Alice Cooper and Judas Priest a week or so later in New Jersey at a monsters of rock tour.
Enough about me. If there's anything you'd like to see on the site, or anything you would like to upload to it, drop me a line from the contact page and I'll see what I can do (but no promises - like I say I'm a pretty busy guy). I have unlimited space, so videos or whatever are cool. I was also going to do a forum but there's already a really good Guns N' Roses forum at www.mygnrforum.com. Please check out the links page for some other good Guns-N-Roses web sites. PLease enjoy the site and to coin a phrase I picked up recently from Da Ali G Show: keep it real.
